David J. Reeves founded Grey Wolf Automation LLC in 2011, after working for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), System Integrators and End Users. Each of these employers had their techniques for working on projects, and David realized that there was a better way to deliver a project. Using what he learned, David lends his unique perspectives on how to execute a project, as well as how to treat customers.
His philosophy is if you treat a customer like a friend, you will ultimately care more and will deliver a superior product. Additionally, if you agree to a price and a product, honor it, and make sure that your customer is happy with the end result. If they are not, fix it! Good enough are two words that should never be uttered.
David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. His concentrations during his time at NJIT included control system design and programming. Also, while at NJIT, his senior thesis produced a multi-axis lamp, controlled using voice commands, to help paraplegics.
David J. Reeves, is also a veteran volunteer firefighter, with approximately 35 years firefighting experience. During his tenure with the fire department, he held department officer positions for 20 years including multiple years as department chief. Additionally, he presently holds multiple positions on the business side of the department and is constantly called upon to provide guidance and advice to both older and rookie members. One of David’s recent accomplishments with the department was to lead a team of experienced fire fighters, whose task was to design and deliver a new 1500 GPM, 750 Gallon, 7 Person Crew Cab, Front Line Attack Pumper. As is normal for David’s projects, this pumper was delivered within the expected timeframe and under-budget.

In the fire service, minutes matter and quick decisions have to be made to ensure everyone’s safety and to limit damage to property. Having dealt with simple single car accidents to huge multi-agency response incidents, he has a unique approach on how customers should be served and how projects should be executed. He uses this knowledge to ensure each and every project is delivered on-time and under-budget, and that all employees working on any project do so safely and with the big picture in mind.
